Bought this for my son and I use as well. Exotic, rich, woodsy/smokey but almost buttery vanilla scent. Not purely masculine, rather intense and seductive. This is a fragrance that gives you the feeling of being cuddled by warm welcoming arms, sitting in front of a fire, safe, welcoming. This scent is not for people who want their scent to go unnoticed. Although it's not 'in your face' it is forward enough to announce your presence, but in a sophisticated yet edgy way. Fragrance notes are the muskiness and acidity of black tea, rosewood, bergamot (another tea, this time the bright sharp perfumery Earl Grey), cedar, oak moss, vanilla, amber, sandalwood, and musk. All of those woodsy notes create that welcoming woodsy smell. The scent lasts forever. It starts off smelling slightly citrusy, but that dissipates early with the fresh/funky/woody/sensual heart. Great product from Annick Menardo and Bulgari. Get it before it becomes discontinued like other hard to capsulate fragrances from the past. | 5 |
